This gentle, textural piece captures three blue-and-black feathers — each one chosen and gathered by my son, who often brings me little treasures for the studio: feathers, sea glass, fossils, crystals, shells, and flowers. These small gifts from our beach walks become part of my creative world, and this painting reflects that quiet, thoughtful connection. Soft washes, layered marks, and expressive drawn lines bring the feathers to life in a delicate, contemporary style.
