About Kirsteen Lyons-Benson BA (Hons)

Kirsteen Lyons-Benson is a contemporary Scottish artist whose work captures the light, movement, and spirit of coastal life. Inspired by the sea and sky, she paints expressive seascapes and landscapes in blue tones with touches of warmth and texture. Her loose impressionist style reflects both freedom and depth — shaped by a life of creativity, travel, and adventure.

Born to two artists who met at the Glasgow School of Art, Kirsteen grew up surrounded by art and has spent her life painting, teaching, and exhibiting. Today, she works from her Edinburgh studio, creating original artworks that bring calm, light, and connection to modern interiors.
