There is something quietly hopeful about a single flower standing alone. This purple tulip emerged from layers of expressive brushstrokes and rich textures, gradually revealing itself as a symbol of resilience and calm. The deep violet bloom contrasts with flowing blue-green leaves, while the warm gold-coloured edging catches the light, creating a sense of warmth and quiet celebration.
Like many of my paintings, this piece reflects the way beauty can emerge from uncertainty. It began with loose, instinctive marks before finding its direction, reminding me that growth often comes through patience rather than perfection. I hope it encourages the viewer to pause and notice the small moments of strength and optimism that are always present, even during life's more difficult seasons.
